Burlingame-based Virgin America received accolades from Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
Condé Nast Traveler magazine recently named Burlingame-based Virgin America “Best Premium Class” among domestic airlines. The airline received top honors by scoring the highest on the 2012 Business Travel Poll, an independent survey of business travelers.
This is the fifth year in a row Virgin America has been ranked as the best for Premium Class, as reported in the October issue of Condé Nast Traveler.
More than 46,000 Condé Nast Traveler business traveler readers rated airlines, airports and hotels on the survey.

The final score, out of 100, signifies the percentage of survey-takers who rated the airline “very good” or “excellent.” Virgin America came in first among domestic carriers with a score of 87.9.
To celebrate, the airline launched Tuesday a “Jet Back to Business” sale with main cabin travel available between San Francisco and Los Angeles for $59 and between Chicago and Los Angeles for $127. The fast sale ends at 11:59 p.m. October 3 and is only valid for travel between Oct. 22, 2012 and Feb. 13, 2013.
