Sky High Sports, the leader in bouncy fun and fitness, launches on Sept. 27 at 1524 Rollins Rd. in Burlingame.

At nearly 30,000 square feet, Sky High Sport’s newest location brings affordable, active family entertainment to the Peninsula along with a few Sky High brand exclusives including Sky High Hoops and Sky Boxes.

Locally owned by Hillsborough residents, Tim and Kelly Manning, the Burlingame franchise is the 17th Sky High Sports location.

"We’re excited that the Mannings are the newest members of the Sky High family,” said Jerry Raymond, Sky High founder and Bay Area resident.

“When I was growing up in Millbrae and Tim in San Bruno, there were bowling alleys, skating rinks and plenty of places where we got together with our friends for fun and socializing,” said Kelly Manning, a former Senior Merchandiser for Levi's. “Today, I find the area to be lacking in entertainment venues for my teenagers. When we learned about an opportunity to open a Sky High franchise, we agreed it was the perfect fit for our community.”

Kelly and her husband, Tim, the owner of Manning Distribution Services in South San Francisco, have two children attending area high schools. “Our family is looking forward to giving back to the community we love, beginning with our Grand Opening 'Blue Carpet' event,” said Kelly.

On Friday, Sept. 27th from 11 a.m. until midnight, Sky High Burlingame’s Blue Carpet Grand Opening event will benefit the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activity League, an organization providing support and services to 3000 area youth.

Any guest who arrives with an item of sporting goods for donation to the SAL’s youth sports program will receive one free hour of jump time. SAL is in need of soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, lacrosse equipment and athletic shoes of any size.

Grand Opening festivities include a blue carpet arrival with photos and social media uploaded to a gallery, numerous raffles for prizes including free jump time, AIRobics classes and t-shirts, dodgeball games and more.

Sky High Sports offers wall-to-wall bouncy fun on the enormous main court, super-size foam pit with rope swing and trampoline dodgeball court. In addition, from open of business until close, Sky High's dedicated kid’s court is exclusive to jumpers eight years of age and younger. No big kids allowed!

New and exclusive to the Burlingame franchise, Sky High Hoops! NBA dreamers are invited to experience extreme verticals as they bounce down one of two trampoline lanes to dunk a ball into a basketball hoop.

Also exclusive to Sky High Burlingame, Sky Boxes, private party rooms providing spectacular, unobstructed views over the jump courts via floor to ceiling windows. A Sky Box is the perfect place to host an unforgettable birthday party, fundraiser or  corporate event.  Sky High party planners are always available to make the reservation process easy, affordable and unforgettable for groups of all sizes.

Wiped out from jumping? Take a break and enjoy the latest in gaming in our arcade. Grab a bite in Sky High Sports Café offering fresh, healthy wraps, garden-fresh salads and more. For the convenience of parents, large screen TVs throughout the facility allow you to relax while monitoring the jump court action. Take advantage of our free WiFi while your kids burn off lots of energy.

Health conscious, active families will be happy to learn that while Sky High is mostly about fun, it’s also about fitness.  “Obesity rates are out of control in this country,” said Kelly. “Jumping on trampolines is a real workout, but your kids will be having so much fun, they won't even realize it's exercise. After a couple of hours, they’ll be tuckered out, just in time for you to take them home.”

For adults, Sky High offers AIRobics, a unique and challenging, low-impact cardio class that burns up to 1000 calories per hour and is infinitely more fun than most fitness classes. As a matter of fact, AIRobics is so much fun, you’ll look forward to returning for the next class.  After all, sticking to your workout program is half the battle, isn’t it?
