Off the Grid is a gathering of San Francisco street food vendors -- or, better described as, "a roaming mobile food extravaganza."

Don't miss out on local favorite street tacos, burgers, curries, creme brulees -- you'll find anything that can be made and sold from a the back of a truck. There's also live music!

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., find trucks in Civic Center's UN Plaza (next to the Asian Art Museum).

Misleading for-profit business NOT a free community venue post. Although the headline is listed as "FREE" and Price as "$0", the article refers to food being "sold". Needs better wording or truth-in-advertising so as not to mislead readers.

I see what you mean, but it is free ($0) to attend this event.

why would you even ponder the thought of "free food"?

There are many persons on the Coastside who are still the working and hungry poor and need assistance from local food banks/providers such as Second Harvest Food Bank, Pacifica Resource Center, etc.
