Paint the Town this Weekend for Paint Burlingame

All artists are invited to attend Paint Burlingame this weekend for Plein Air painting capturing the character of Burlingame.

Burlingame's beauty and Sunday’s forecasted sunny, warm weather make the perfect setting for a day of Plein Air painting. Artists are invited to Burlingame this weekend to show off their artistic skills, benefitting the Burlingame Historical Society.

All artists wishing to participate should register between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Burlingame Caltrain Station. Here’s how the day works: after registration, painters of all kinds span out throughout Burlingame and find their favorite location in town. They then do their best to capture Burlingame’s character through parks, landmarks and architecture.

All works of art must be done by 3 p.m. At 4 p.m., Will Maller, a member of the International Plein Air Painters (IPAP) will judge the works, which should be delivered to 1426 Burlingame Ave. upon completion.
