Burlingame Pet Parade

Residents are invited to participate in the 8th annual Burlingame Pet Parade.

Dusty the Klepto Kitty will lead the parade, along with Baer of the Burlingame Police Department and Diggs, who won a Grand Prize at last year's parade.

Dusty, who received national attention for stealing more than 650 items from neighbors, will ride in a "jail" while dressed in prison stripes.

Children from Peninsula Temple Sholom Preschool will also head the parade while the Burlingame High School Band and Los Trancos Woods Community Marching Band play along.

Hundreds of marchers and their costumed pets are expected. Those wishing to walk should report by 9:30 a.m. to the parking lot near Broadway and Chula Vista, across from Wells Fargo Bank. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded for various costumes.
