Cheryl Burke and William Levy in DWTS Finals

This is Burke's sixth time in the finals from which she walked away twice as a champion. Is this Team Fuego's year?

Next Monday, Dancing With the Stars will crown new champions and the Mirror Ball trophy will have new owners.

Perhaps and Menlo-Atherton High grad along with her celebrity soap-opera star William Levy will take home the grand prize?

It's quite possible that Team Fuego could win. This is Burke's sixth visit to the finals and she's a two-time winner. This bodes well for Levy—who under Burke's tutelage—has in recent weeks received several perfect scores from the judges for his Foxtrot and Samba.

However, it's not just about the judges' score. Celebrity Maria Menounos had also impressed with her Jive and Tango, but the audience votes didn't suffice to keep her and partner Derek Hough in the competition for one more week.

So it's all up to the viewers to help choose between the best three teams possibly to ever make it to the finals of Dancing With the Stars, according to the show's judges and hosts. Up against Burke and Levy are former NFL player Donald Driver and opera singer Katherine Jenkins.

Here are some words from Cheryl Burke via her studio's newsletter before this week's dances and results:

To my awesome family, fans and friends,

As we get down to the semi-finals the stakes are getting higher. Thanks to your overwhelming show of support by voting, we made it safely through last week.

William stunned the crowd when he exquisitely executed our Foxtrot, receiving our first three perfect 10s this season. His trio Paso Doble dance was fabulous.

This week the pressure was even more intense as we competed for the finals with Tango and Samba. Your votes have been very crucial. As you can see, no one has ever been safe this season. Don't forget to watch and vote!

P.S. To vote for William and me, call 800-868-3408 or log on to http://www.abc.com. You are allowed to vote five times equal to the number of celebrities on the show. Phone lines, text votes (AT&T customers only) and online polls will open at the top of each performance show.

Phone and text lines will stay open for 30 minutes after the end of the show. Online voting will remain open until 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) and 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) on the day of the results show.  Please follow me on twitter at http://twitter.com/CherylBurke and William Levy at  http://twitter.com/willylevy29.

I am one of Cheryl’s avid fans. I have been watching her since Season 2. I believe she is one, if not the best, pro dancers in DWTS. She always made her celebrity partner look good and many times I observed that she did not over dance to show off her partner. Cheryl has touched many lives of the viewers. My husband and I were among them. She is generous and giving. I hope and pray that William and she take home the mirror ball this season. They absolutely deserve it. And, our family and friends are voting for them

There is a big population of Filipinos in California and many of us are supporting William and Cheryl by voting for them. We want to see them win this season. We love Cheryl and she has been a role model for our kids who want to aspire for bigger and better things when they grow up. She is indeed a great inspiration. She has been giving back to the Filipino community and we appreciate everything she has done for the community. There is no doubt that she is the best female pro dancer in DWTS. VOTE FOR WILLIAM AND CHERYL ON MONDAY!!!!

Ever since Cheryl Burke started her career at ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," I have witnessed her professional growth and love for her communities on Monday nights. Whether it is helping her mother, Sherri Burke, with fundraisers for devastating typhoons in the Philippines or encouraging teens in the school district (where the Cheryl Burke Dance studio is located) experience the grace and elegance of ballroom dancing (with the added benefits of building self-confidence, a natural high --- no drugs! --- and having fun while networking!), Cheryl rules! Her commitment to training and coaching her celebrity partners is amazing! In the volunteer work that I do in our ethnic communities, especially the Filipino community, even our Monday night meetings and gatherings include turning on the TV just so we can cheer for Cheryl and her celebrity partner. Cheryl is proud of her Filipina roots --- and I celebrate that she has the ability to remind all Filipinos worldwide that we are empowered and are among the best of the best. Cheryl, thank you for keeping us together as a ONE COMMUNITY! We hope you and William Levy get the mirror ball trophy… Both of you more than deserve it!

Yeah, a lot of people used to say Britney Spears was a great role model too. People, it seems, never learn. You know who roles models are? Moms. Dads. Uncles. Aunts. Why don't you celebrate them instead?

I would love to, Bernie. Tell you what: Nominate someone who has the characteristics of a good role model and I will celebrate their existence. All I ask is that you make it a person from Menlo Park or Atherton. (Those are my Patch's geographic boundaries.)
