Gourmet pizza lovers, take note.
San Francisco’s acclaimed Pizzeria Delfina is opening its third and largest outpost in downtown Burlingame on 1444 Burlingame Ave.
Expected to be significantly larger than its 18th Street Mission original and larger Pacific Heights branch, the pizzeria will boast a large outdoor patio and its famous Neopolitan pizza, a scrumptious combination of tomato, anchovies, capers, hot peppers, olives and oregano.
Originally opened in 2005, the first location contained just 24 seats in side. The Burlingame spot, by contrast, is expected to clock in a whopping 80 seats.
The popular pizzeria is expected to open its doors in Burlingame June 2013.
