Lions Club Lends a Hand to CALL Primrose

The Burlingame Lions Club donated to CALL Primrose's holiday food drive efforts.

The Burlingame Lions Club is helping spread holiday cheer this season by presenting its annual holiday food donation to Burlingame non-profit CALL Primrose.

The Lions Club donated $1,000 for the organization’s holiday food drive.

“The Burlingame Lions Club has been a strong supporter of our efforts at CALL Primrose for many, many years,” said CALL Primrose Executive Director Mary Watt. “In addition to providing us with this generous donation, Lions Club members volunteer their time as well, lending helping hands during our holiday food and toy distribution.”

The Lions Club brings together men and women in Burlingame who volunteer their time for the betterment of the community. The Burlingame branch formed in 1929.

“The Lions Club has a long record of community service,” said President Ken Ingram. “It is always a pleasure to help within the community. Not many people realize that there are needy people right here in the immediate area.”
