Labor Day Race to Close Streets in Burlingame

The Burlingame Spirit Run will slow traffic and make parking an issue on Monday.

The Burlingame Spirit Run, set for Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2) will affect traffic and parking around the city.

The race covers streets from Burlingame Intermediate School to Easton and from Bernal to Benito.

According to an alert sent out by the county Wednesday morning, "these streets will be closed to traffic entering these areas. Residents within this area are encouraged to be very careful when driving, expect delays, and most importantly yield to runners and walkers."

The race lasts from 7:30 until 10 a.m., but there will be no parking starting at 2 a.m. in those areas.
