CALL Primrose Starts Thinking About Holiday Help

Fall may have just started, but it's not too early to start thinking about lending a helping hand for the holidays.

Although it just officially became fall a few days ago, it’s not too early to start thinking about the holidays.

Burlingame-based CALL Primrose, a non profit serving residents from San Bruno to San Carlos, has started registration for the holiday fill-a-box season. Here’s how it works: participants fill a box with specified food items and a $20 gift card to be given to a family in need for holiday meal preparation.

CALL Primrose passes along the box to a low-income family, which must have previously enrolled in and qualified for the program. The boxes help ensure needy families across northern San Mateo County are able to enjoy the holidays. Boxes are needed for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
