For the past few months, 9th Grade students from the Nueva Upper School have been organizing TEDxYouth@Hillsborough, an independently organized conference similar to the TED conference held yearly. Our theme for the event is Changing the World: Discovery, Adversity, and Success and will feature speakers from each of these sub-themes.
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the talks, discuss with other Bay Area students, and then meet the speakers after the sessions. The conference is open to students from grades 7-12, and is a public event, so feel free to invite people from outside the school as well.
