The Burlingame Pet Parade and Preston’s Candy Store Tour are Here!
For a ninth year Burlingame residents will dress in costumes, along with their pets to stroll down Broadway in the annual pet parade. It's this weekend, Saturday September 29th.
The 9th Annual Burlingame Pet Parade is happening this Saturday, 9/29/2012, starting at 10am! Gather your pets, don your costumes and take a stroll down Broadway or just enjoy the parade from the sidewalk. In addition to the parade festivities, the Broadway Merchants will be hosting many great activities and entertainment will be provided by the Burlingame High School Band and the Los Trancos Woods Community Marching Band.
Perhaps one of the most enjoyable activities outside the parade is Preston’s Candy and Ice Cream chocolate tour! Preston’s will be hosting free tours of their wonderful candy and ice cream store on both Friday and Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Go behind the scenes and see how Preston’s has been making their wonderful chocolates, ice cream and confections for years – by the way, you get yummy tasters along the way!
